The preview for the upcoming 90 Day: The Last Resort episode shows Big Ed revealing his real intentions for Liz Woods and their future. The 58-year-old man and his 31-year-old fiancée have joined the therapy-oriented spin-off to resolve their communication problems and become better partners. However, Big Ed has been more interested in cheating during a group therapy game or making others laugh with his jokes. In the last episode, he accused Liz of not having his back after he picked up a fight with Kelly. He seemed more occupied with his feud than improving his relationship.

Recently, Parade shared a sneak peek of episode 4, where Ed and Liz finally have a heart-to-heart conversation. The clip starts with the 31-year-old single mom telling Ed that his behavior during therapy was immature. She accuses him of not being “serious in the moment,” and states that his jokes made her roll her eyes. Liz urges her beau to be serious, and Ed accepts his mistake. He says, “I just don’t want you to think I’m taking this lightly, [because] I’m not. I’m serious about us. I want it to work.” The 58-year-old man admits he could feel himself and Liz “slipping away.”

90 Day Fiancé’s Liz Woods Demands Big Ed Be More Serious

Ed tells Liz that the only reason he doesn’t “like to take life so seriously” is uncertainty. The 90 Day Fiancé franchise star adds, something could happen to you, something could happen to me.” However, Liz doesn’t listen to his excuses and demands he be a mature man. She tells him how his jester-like attitude has become a big issue in their relationship. The 31-year-old single mom asks her 90 Day: The Last Resort co-star how he would react if something happened to her tomorrow, knowing he never gave her what she needed from him: a serious partner.

Ed and Liz have broken up nearly a dozen times since they met. Despite that, they have continued their relationship and are now on 90 Day: The Last Resort to find a solution to their incompatibility. Unfortunately, neither of them realizes that they are both immature in one way or the other. Liz is a single mother of one who can’t see that she needs to be with a man who fits her personality, lifestyle, and future goals. As for Ed, he has a lack of seriousness about everything. It doesn’t seem like two-week therapy is actually going to work for them.

Still, it is surprising to see Ed and Liz communicate their feelings and needs in such a clear manner. It is probably the first time the couple has acted maturely throughout their journey with the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Ed has rarely let Liz share her real feelings on the show in the past, so it seems like the therapy is actually working for him. Since the couple is making progress every week on the spin-off, it looks like they would leave the show as a much stronger couple. Hopefully, Ed and Liz will continue progressing in their relationship even after 90 Day: The Last Resort concludes.
